A LAWN SEED BLEND

Buffalo Pals is an environmentally friendly turf
seed blend that is both drought and cold tolerant, extremely
fertilizer efficient and requires less mowing. Maximum plant
height, if left unmowed is approximately 6 inches. Buffalo
Pals may be left unmowed for a natural prairie look.

Bison is a significant improvement over Texoka and
common Buffalograss that is adapted to turf and erosion control
applications. Cody is a recent release designed exclusively
for turf use with greater turf density, finer texture and a darker
green color. Together the two varieties provide an
attractive low maintenance turf that is economical and high in
turf quality.

PLANTING GUIDE:
1: Prepare a firm,
weed-free seed bed on a well-drained site, loam to clay soil and in
full sun.
2: Test soil before
planting; contact your local turf specialist for fertilizer
recommendations.
3: Plant when the soil
temperatures reach 60°F (16 C) in the spring.
4: Plant seeds 1/4 to
1/2 inch deep by broadcasting or drilling. Firm the soil by
rolling and watering.
5: Keep soil moist to
ensure germination and seedling establishment.
6: Once seedlings have
emerged, less watering is needed.
7: Control weeds by
mowing during establishment, Then use only herbicides labeled for
use on Buffalograss.
