Northeast Native Grass Mixture #2904
Native grass mix for Northeastern area of US. This mixture was
developed and blended for use for Rangeland, Ornamental and Ecological purposes
(Wildlife, etc.) rather than for fast stabilization of soils. Native grasses usually take more than one season
to properly establish.
Usage Area:
For Northeastern USA (see map)
Height: 24-48 inches
Recommended Planting Rate:
17 lbs alone / 8 lbs with wildflowers per acre.
Mixture Varieties Included:
Contains Virginia Wildrye, Silky Wildrye, Canada Wildrye, and Little
Bluestem.
These mixtures can also be mixed with Regional
Wildflower Mixtures
to provide a blend of grasses and wildflowers for a true meadow look.
