Southwest Native Grass Mixture #2905
Native grass mix for Southwest growing area of US (see map) including Arizona.
This mixture was developed and blended for use for Rangeland, Ornamental and Ecological purposes
(Wildlife, etc.) rather than for fast stabilization of soils. Native grasses
usually take more than one season to properly establish.
Usage Area:
For Southwest area of US (see map) including Arizona.
Height: 12-36 inches.
Recommended Planting Rate / Acre:
8 lbs alone / 4 lbs with wildflowers.
Mixture Varieties Included:
Contains Blue Grama, Sideoats Grama, Plains Bristlegrass, Alkali Sacaton,
Indian Ricegrass, Spike Muhly, and Sand Dropseed.
These mixtures can also be mixed with Regional
Wildflower Mixtures
to provide a blend of grasses and wildflowers for a true meadow look.
