Tallgrass Native Grass Mixture #2643
Native grass mix for Tallgrass growing area of US (see map) - Central & Eastern
US. This mixture was developed and blended for use for Rangeland, Ornamental and
Ecological purposes (Wildlife, etc.) rather than for fast stabilization of
soils. Native
grasses usually take more than one season to properly establish.
Usage Area:
For Southwest (Texas) thru Northern US to Eastern areas of
US (see map).
Suitable for elevations below 6,000 ft. - Best on moderate to moist soils.
Height: 24-96 inches.
Recommended Planting Rate / Acre:
12 lbs alone / 6 lbs with wildflowers.
Mixture Varieties Included:
Contains Big Bluestem, Little Bluestem, Indiangrass and Switchgrass.
These mixtures can also be mixed with Regional
Wildflower Mixtures
to provide a blend of grasses and wildflowers for a true meadow look.
