Western Native Grass Mixture #2752
Native grass mix for West / Northwest growing area of US (see map). This
mixture was developed and blended for use for Rangeland, Ornamental and Ecological purposes
(Wildlife, etc.) rather than for fast stabilization of soils. Native grasses usually take
more than one season to properly establish.
Usage Area:
For Western / Northwest area of US (see map).
Suitable for elevations below 5,500 ft.
Height: 12-36 inches.
Recommended Planting Rate / Acre:
10 lbs alone / 4 lbs with wildflowers.
Mixture Varieties Included:
Contains Sheep Fescue, Alkali Sacaton, Sandberg Bluegrass, Indian Ricegrass,
Galleta, Sand Dropseed and Prairie Junegrass.
*Note: Varieties included and percentages subject to change due to availability
of species.
These mixtures can also be mixed with Regional
Wildflower Mixtures
to provide a blend of grasses and wildflowers for a true meadow look.
